We've teamed up with award-winning contemporary choir Rock Choir, to launch a heartfelt song that highlights the power of community, peer support and music in helping people to live well with dementia, and to raise vital funds to support our work.

Dementia NI Has Launched Its New Member Forum!

Our Member Forum meets regularly to drive campaigns for change and steer our strategies. It celebrates a great milestone for Dementia NI and is an exciting opportunity for our members to have their voices heard and campaign for the changes that matter most to them.

Dementia NI Members Use Their Lived Experience To Drive Meaningful Change In Local Healthcare Services

As part of our ongoing mission to drive positive change in dementia services, Dementia NI members have been working with local HSCTs to produce training videos advising their staff how best to support people with dementia in healthcare settings.

Dementia Inclusive Tennis

Dementia NI members have been working with CIYMS Tennis Club, Belfast to develop Dementia Inclusive Tennis Sessions. These sessions are aimed at people with dementia, however, carers and loved ones are also welcomed to participate.

Dementia Inclusive Walking Rugby

The Walking Rugby is a joint venture with Dementia NI and Ulster Rugby. Learn Walking Rugby from scratch!

Ards Arts Centre hosts Dementia Inclusive Art Workshops

Taking place on the first Friday of each month, “Friday Friendlies” is an inclusive art club, suitable for anyone requiring a gentler pace of class with less focus on skills or for those who maybe need a little extra help to bring out their creativity.

The Inspired App

The InspireD App enables people living with dementia, their carers and families to create a digital memory book to store photographs, videos and sounds; aimed at sparking conversations and providing opportunities to share experiences and maintain relationships.

The Dementia Game

This puzzle, supported by Dementia Services Development Trust, aims to disrupt public perception of dementia.

Apps4dementia

A new digital service offering support for people living with dementia and their carers has been launched by the Health and Social Care Board. It is called Apps4Dementia.
