The last thing anyone expects to be told at the age of 54 is that they have dementia. Sadly, this is becoming more common now a days as Davie McElhinney knows all too well. Davie who lives in rural Fermanagh was exactly this person, told at the young age of 54, one year ago, that he is now living with Fronto-temporal dementia. Davie lives with his loving wife and his adored children who are in their early 20’s.
